協會宗旨 Our Mission Statement
台灣國際青少年交流協會為依法設立、非以營利為目的之社會團體，以開展全國青少年國際視野為目標、為成為國際人作準備。期望能發現學生們更多的學習潛能，提供學生更多元的學習資源，並帶領國際學生認識台灣，為全國青少年開創對外文化、教育、學術、語言交流門戶為主旨。並藉由全球教育平台，開展實驗教育，讓台灣學子得以探索和實踐並創造出尊重自信、規劃生命、為群體奉獻的人性價值，過程中融入國家的認同，國際的素養，全球的競合力與世界的責任感，創造出具國際觀與世界觀的優秀台灣青少年，立足台灣，面向國際，展望世界。
自政府大力推動國際教育以來，許多學校陸續紛紛響應舉辦擴展學生國際視野的出國交流活動。協會除了積極為各級學校聯繫世界各國各級學校，安排互相交流聯繫外，亦每年或甄選或安排美國、英國、丹麥、日本、大陸、香港、新加坡等地學生來台與台灣學生交流互動。期許在協會的努力下，台灣的學子能夠打開國際視野、增進世界觀、培養與國際友人溝通的能力，成為一位世界公民。
Taiwan International Youth Exchange Association (TIYEA) is a non-profit organization. The objective of TIYEA is to develop the young people international field of vision and hope that students can discover more learning potential, provide students with more diversified learning resources, and lead international students to know about Taiwan, and create a cultural, educational, academic, and language exchange portal for young people across the country.
And through the global education platform, the experimental education is carried out, so that Taiwanese students can explore and practice and create the human value of respecting self-confidence, planning life, and dedicating to the group. In the process, it integrates national recognition, international competence, global competitiveness and cooperation. The goal is to encourage Taiwanese Youths to broaden their views of what the world is all about and make opportunities to experience different cultures.
